Who is Recluse Rags for?
For the thoughtful creatives, the ones sometimes considered introverted or quiet, and of course the ones thinking "are you kidding me?" when they feel like their rightfully cherished time is being wasted.
Bonus: maybe you don't think that's you, but you just like clean, simple goods designed with comfort and quality in mind. We'll allow it.
How Do You Decide What to Make?
We ebb and flow according to the whims of our founder. Even a so-called "Recluse" has shifting tides of influence on his mind and focus. But that's enough water-based language. Essentially, our designs stem from our own internal monologue, what we're feeling, or what we imagine we'd rather be doing instead.
What Makes Recluse Rags Different from Other Clothing Brands?
Maybe this is the wrong approach, but we aren't trying to make what you want. We're trying to make what we want, and just crossing our fingers that you happen to want it too. Way easier than boring old market research.
But if you don't want it, that's okay; we're having fun either way. Don't stop being you just for our sake.
Why Don't You Offer Discounts or Sales?
We believe in transparency. Our prices reflect our true cost of quality materials and production, rather than an inflated sticker price that only gets discounted to make you feel like you're getting a deal.
We prefer to lead with fairness and keep it up year-round.
Can I Find You in Stores?
Unfortunately no. We are currently online-only, as this allows us to minimize costs and offer you the fairest price possible.
That said, there's always the chance you find us in stores. We're people. We go to stores.
Why Can't I Get My Order Delivered Faster?
We're a made-to-order shop, so your order doesn't even begin to exist until sometime after you've completed your purchase. On top of that, we strongly support a healthy work-life balance, so having an extra day or two to get an order out the door allows us to best support the team making your order a reality.
We think the world could use a little more downtime anyway, so let's not overwork each other when we can help it.
